Our Preserve

Our preserve is in the Trujillo region, very close to the village of Santa Marta de Magasca, two hours away from Madrid and 20 minutes away from Caceres. This is a classic partridge hunting area, specially suited for partridge drives, the archetypal way of shooting partridges in Spain.

The rivers Magasca and Tozo, tributaries of the Almonte river, border our estate, giving it a unique orography, which combined with the typical local vegetation, delivers the ideal partridge shooting conditions.

The abundance of streams, soft ravines and rolling hills, full of brooms and thyme so appreciated by the partridge, make of our preserve the perfect place for the partridge to settle and breed. On the other hand, the great number of ravines between the rivers Tozo and Magasca highlight their already impressive flight, sharp and elusive, so characteristic of the red Spanish partridge.
